Did you know here at IAM in York we offer a full body mole check with our Skin Lesion Specialist Nurse, Rachael. Firstly book an appointment which can be from 30-60 minutes. Rachael will take a detailed medical history and take images using the dermatoscope (a bit like a magnifying glass). Sometimes these images need to be sent to our Consultant Dermatologist for review. If any abnormailites are detected then we will liasise with your GP and send the images and report findings to allow a quicker and smoother referral into the secondary care within the NHS.

  Any benign lesions can be removed here at IAM either with Nurse Rachael or Mr Lim. Biopsies can be taken and sent for histology.

  We would love to welcome Consultant Nurse Prescriber Tracey to the Innersense Aesthetics Medical Team! Tracey is passionate about engaging patients on their wellness journey and specialises in Menopause care.

  Highly trained in both Menopause Care and Lifestyle Medicine, Tracey’s ethos is holistic patient centered care with a focus on patient empowerment and ownership of their health journey. This focuses on body positivity, nutrition management, and hormone balancing. The specialist Menopause Clinic combines both lifestyle medicine and a clinical approach to support and care for your perimenopause and menopausal phase of life.

  Suffering with hormone imbalance can have a significant impact on your quality of life. When hormone imbalance occurs, hormone replacement therapy (HRT) may help. You will have a thorough in-depth consultation with specialist Nurse Tracey, who will access the symptoms and recommend a suitable treatment for your symptoms.
