HArmonyCa® is for patients with wrinkles on the side of the face in front of the ears, especially when smiling. It can target and treat the lateral aspect of the face only, not the lips or neck & is the newest add-on dermal filler from Allergan, the market leaders of facial aesthetics.
It is a dual-effect hybrid injectable that combines two hard working ingredients, hyaluronic acid (HA) and calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHa) to give both an instant lift and longevity.
Manufactured as a bio-stimulator, the crossed linked HA gives an immediate elevation of the skin to plump out lines and wrinkles whilst the CaHa stimulates lasting collagen production in the skin to restructure, rejuvenate and tighten the face. It also includes lidocaine as one of its ingredients to make it a more comfortable treatment.
In recent clinical trials 91% of clients treated with HArmonyCa ™ reported a marked improvement in facial appearance, with over 82% returning for a repeat treatment as and when required.
HArmonyCa ™ is ideal for individuals concerned with loss of facial structure associated with ageing and also those who would like to benefit from the long-term improvement of facial proportions, lines and wrinkles

What are skin tags?
Skin tags are small growths that hang off your skin. They’re common and harmless, but can be removed if they’re bothering you. Skin tags are made of loose collagen fibres and blood vessels surrounded by skin. Collagen is a type of protein found throughout the body.
What skin tags look like?
Skin tags are small, soft, skin-coloured growths on your skin. They can vary in colour and size – from a few millimetres up to 5cm wide.
Who gets skin tags?
Skin tags are usually found on the neck, armpits, around the groin, or under the breasts. They can also grow on the eyelids or under the folds of the buttocks. Pregnant women may also be more likely to develop skin tags as a result of changes in their hormone levels. Some people develop them for no apparent reason. Skin tags tend to grow in the skin folds, where the skin rubs against itself, such as on the neck, armpits or groin. This is why they tend to affect overweight people who have excess folds of skin and skin chafing. Both men and women can develop skin tags
Skin tag removal is regarded as cosmetic surgery, which is rarely available through the NHS. Cosmetic surgery is usually only available on the NHS if the problem is affecting your physical or mental health.
If you have any skin tags you would like us to take a look at & consider removal then book in for a consultation with our Skin Lesion Nurse Specialist Rachael at our CQC York Clinic.

Vitamin C is a POWERHOUSE ingredient which has been used in skincare for years but what is it?
Vitamin C is an important antioxidant which protects the skin from Free Radicals - the pesky & unstable molecules which can damage the cells in our body, especially as we age, which can cause the skin to age, cause fine lines & wrinkles as well as affecting the texture & tone of the skin.
Vitamin C comes in many forms but its L-ascorbic Acid which effectively protects our skin from the cell damage - see for yourself… Two slices of apple, both left in moderate sunlight for 8 hours, one with Obagi Vitamin C Serum 15% and one with nothing. As you can see the slice of apple with nothing has massively deteriorated & showing discolouration as well as an uneven texture, whereas the slice with 5-7 drops of Obagi Vitamin C Serum is still clear, bright, crisp & plump. This experiment mimics the effect this powerful ingredient has on the skin in an environment which matches that of an average office for a typical working day!
Apply your Vitamin C on clean skin every morning before your moisturiser & SPF for maximum protection against ageing & keep your skin clear, bright & wrinkle free!
We have a range of Vitamin C products to suit a range of skin types, speak with one of our therapists on your next visit to find the right one for you!!

How Quickly Will I See Results From Diolaze XL™? Diolaze XL immediately destroys hair follicles after your very first treatment. You can expect to see consistent long term results after just a few sessions of this laser hair removal treatment at our Wetherby Clinic in Leeds. Improvement to the skin’s texture and smoothness will be noticed as well.
For optimal results, clients are recommended to purchase a treatment package for faster reduction of hair growth and hair-free skin. Our Wetherby, Leeds Diolaze XL™ treatment experts will provide you with professional advice on how many sessions you might need in order to achieve optimal results.

Lips to Love - Questions we get asked all the time about lip fillers.
Will I get a duck lip? All our lip dermal filler treatments are carried out by experienced Aesthetic Nurses who have been trained to the highest standard & have a full understanding of the lip anatomy and that the perfect lips are often described as a full bottom lip with an upper lip that slightly projects. Using dermal fillers from the Juvederm Ultra / Vycross range it is possible to help shape, plump & define the lip to the ideal shape.
Will it hurt? The Juvederm Vycross / Ultra range include lidocaine, which can help reduce discomfort during the procedure. We will always apply numbing cream 10-15 minutes before hand making the procedure even more comfortable. Your lips will feel quite numb straight after and maybe a bit tender for a few days after.
Are there any risks? Having any dermal fillers do not come without risk. Some risks are greater than others such as some redness, swelling and bruising which although this may not look great, it will always settle within a week leaving lovely shaped lips. It is always best to not have your lips treated just before a big event & always allow 2 weeks for your lips to truly settle.
How long will it last? Most patients will require treatment every 6 months although in some cases it may take more than one visit to reach the desired look.
What if I don’t like them, can I just have them dissolved? You should never have it in your mind that you can just dissolve your lips if you don’t like them. Again, dissolving lips doesn’t come without risk and really should only be used in an emergency situation. |If you are nervous about the look always start with 1/2ml Juvederm and build up over time.
Its time to stop dreaming and start doing…. talk to your Aesthetic Nurse to find out how Juvederm can give you lips to love.

We are so excited to now able to offer the Inmode FormaV vaginal wellness treatment which uses non-invasive, sub-dermal heating technology for feminine health. All our Nurses have had extensive training with inmode on the Forma V, radio frequency which heats up the tissues, strengthens the pelvic floor muscles which results in an improved control in stress urinary incontinence. It also helps to tighten the muscles in the vaginal wall and improves vaginal dryness. The Forma V can also be used externally to improve the loss of collagen to the labia majora. There is very little downtime due to its precise technology and deep-layer targeting of the skin. Slight redness in the treatment area is common post-procedure, which subsides within a few hours. The procedure takes 45 minutes and results can be seen 2 weeks after just one treatment however some women may need up to 3.
The first 5 women will receive the 1st treatment for 1/2 price £225.
